The Businessman's Tie (The Power to Please #1) by Deena Ward

**** I received this e-book as a giveaway from the author Deena Ward in exchange for an honest review***
Love has no limits and an erotic mind is doesn't care about limits. Same was the situation with our enthusiastic recently-divorced Nonnie Crawford. After a long pathetic relationship with her husband, she was ready to give life another chance and was eager to test her limits. In her quest to enjoy and experiment with life Nonnie meets two men with very different personality. Her first encounter was the The Businessman, handsome and with a dashing personality Nonnie went ga-ga over him and later Michael Weston, a charming playboy with special skills to impress a women with his flirtatious persona. Nonnie falls for both but even while fondling with Michael, her thoughts keeps going back and forth to the businessman.

Review:
Confession: I do not read too many BDSM books, but out the few I have read this one is the best.
I have never appreciated the concept of a dominating man while the women would want to be a submissive yet act like a innocent dumb girl with no brains of her own.
Nonnie was not a stupid young teenager falling in love with any man whom she finds handsome. She is a mature women who is sure enough what she wants out of her life and is ready to take her chances. After a long boring relationship with her useless husband, she is ready to meet new people and see what life has to offer. This is what I loved the most about the character. She knew what she was doing... She met him in a bar, falls for his style and was ready to see him again! Simple and straight forward.
Just go for it gal!!

The characters in this book was well defined. The businessman was a puzzle yet very appealing. A mature man who seems to have some set of feelings for Nonnie (So sweet!) while Michael was a pro. He was used to attract women who were new to the idea of submissive and knew how to persuade them. In one word- a real playboy. Though the one character that I am most looking forward to is Lilly, her annoyance with Michael and her purpose of bringing Nonnie into the picture is drilling into my mind.

This book of 88 pages was very precise in terms of its content and I just can't wait to read the next one... Good or bad, 88 pages felt too short. The excitement to read the next one is like a drug while regretting there wasn't much in the first one is a tinge of disappointment.
