A walk to remember by Nicholas Sparks

“I cry to you, my Lord, my rock! Do not be deaf to me, for if you are silent I shall go down to the pit like the rest. Hear my voice raised in petition as I cry to you for help, as I raise my hands, my lord, towards your holy of holies”
--- The Bible

The play of ‘Tom Thorton’ completely relied on the word “you’re beautiful” and the Story of Landon Cartor; on the lines “I told you not to fall in love with me”…

There are few people who love to read a book and then watch the movie, and few who watch the movie and then read the book. Few days back, while switching channels I came across this movie without even knowing the whereabouts of what this movie was all about and since then couldn’t get over it! I had to read the book… It was my necessity!!

And then here I was, with my very own copy of Nicholas Sparks; my first read and was all set with hot chocolate on a rainy day.  With every word, every line, and every sentence I could relate to events and incidents that at some point happens in everyone’s life and I believe that is the reason for falling in love with a book. The more one can relate himself/herself with a book the more you fall in love with the story. I simply couldn't resist the desire of what happened next and ended up reading it at work place, at home, even at places one shouldn't read.  The best part was that because I had seen the movie, I could make my own set of modifications about the story and the way it was represented in the movie. I could have my own set of visualization with the same characters and create an entirely new set of expressions and feelings as I went by the words of the book. I must say, I have never felt the need to read a book after watching the movie as much as I felt in this.

Though the story of “A walk to remember” is nothing unusual but yet it has its own way of representing love and how anyone can be hunted by this word without even them realizing that they have been hunted. This book didn’t even represent the love one feels with his/her partner but also shares the bonding between friends, parents, acquaintances, and much more… every set of relation with a new set of bonding and feelings.

One final word about this book “It’s Beautiful”.
